Hahnemühle Photo Rag® Book & Album is a light FineArt inkjet paper, coated on both sides, in proven Photo Rag® quality. The white, softly textured cotton paper has a smooth, pleasantly soft feel. The matt premium inkjet coating creates striking prints featuring radiant colours, deep blacks and outstanding reproduction of detail. Photo Rag® Book & Album is acid- and lignin-free and meets the most exacting requirements in terms of age resistance. All sizes have a predetermined grain direction and are perfect for producing and binding high-quality FineArt inkjet albums and books.

Fiber grain direction of the paper

For all binding techniques, the paper fiber should run parallel to the spine of the book or album. If “short grain” is stated on the paper package, the paper fiber runs parallel to the short side of the format. Here you bind to the short side of the format.
If "long grain" is specified, the paper fiber runs parallel to the long side of the format; binding is carried out on the long side of the format.

The different formats have defined grain directions:

• DinA4 = short grain
• DinA3 = short grain
• DinA3+ = short grain
• DinA2 = long grain
• 66,5 x 92cm = short grain
